Refund Policy

Which card balances can be returned, how much you get back and how to ask.

Last updated October 14, 2026

Plans change: a client pauses a campaign, a platform rejects a card, a budget gets cut. This policy tells you exactly when money on a BuyAdsCard card can come back to you and how much. It's part of our Terms & Conditions, and the figures below always show our current settings.

The three situations

Your card What you can get back
Never charged by anyone The entire remaining balance. No commission.
Charged at least once, $500.00 or more still on it The remaining balance minus a 10% commission. The card is then closed.
Charged at least once, less than $500.00 left Nothing — keep using what is left until the card reaches its expiry date.

Whatever the situation, the issue fee ($5.00 per card) and the top-up charge (15% of the balance) stay with us. So do network fees, exchange withdrawal fees and other third-party costs, and the commission itself.

What "charged" means here

A card has been charged once any merchant or platform has taken money from it, or reserved money on it. That includes a purchase, a subscription renewal, a pre-authorization and the tiny test charge many ad platforms make when a card is first added — even if the charge was later reversed. Saving the card in an account without any charge doesn't count. The issuer's records and ours settle any doubt.

Worked examples

An untouched card. You loaded $300 for a campaign that never launched. The card was never charged, so the refund is $300. The fees paid with the order are not part of it.

A used card with plenty left. Assume the commission is 10%. A card that started a campaign still holds $900. The commission is $90, so $810 is sent to you and the card is closed.

A used card with a little left. A card charged several times has $120 left. That's below the threshold, so it isn't refundable — spend it on your next campaign instead.

Money an ad platform owes you

Once a platform has charged a card, the money sits with that platform, not on the card. If you believe a charge was wrong, take it up with the platform's billing team first. Credits they approve travel back through the platform and the issuer on their own timeline. We have no power to make a platform return a charge.

Asking for a refund

  1. Sign in and go to Refunds → Request a refund.
  2. Choose the card. You'll see right away whether it qualifies and an estimate after any commission.
  3. Add a short reason.
  4. Enter where the payout should go: a crypto address (or Pay ID) plus its network. Check them carefully — a payout to the details you supply can't be pulled back.
  5. Submit. The request shows in your dashboard, and we email you the decision.

Only one open request per card is possible at a time.

Review and payment

A team member confirms the card's usage and remaining balance with the issuer before deciding. If the real figures differ from what the estimate assumed, the final amount follows the real figures. Decisions usually take a few business days. Approved refunds are paid in USDT, unless we agree another method with you, and the payout's transaction ID is added to your dashboard.

Sometimes a payment can't be matched to a complete order — most often because the amount that arrived was short. Open a support ticket quoting the order reference and the payment or transaction ID. If the funds reached us and we can identify them, you can either complete the order or have the payment returned, minus network and processing costs. If money went out on a different network or to a different address, recovery may not be possible at all; we'll still try in good faith, with no promise of success.

When we can say no or need longer

  • The card is frozen, or being investigated for fraud, abuse or a breach of the Terms.
  • Something our Terms prohibit was done with the card or the account, or the original payment is disputed or tied to stolen money.
  • We still need to verify your identity, or your ownership of the payout address.
  • A law, court order or authority requires us to hold the funds.
